If your New Year resolution is to cook more, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve taught you how to make cannabis butter and the do’s and don’t of cooking with cannabis. Now we’re going to take your baking game higher with an easy recipe for cannabis flour.
How to make cannabis flour in five simple steps:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 220°F.
Step 2: Spread a single layer of crumbled flowers on a cookie sheet, and roast for 30-40 minutes.
Step 3: Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and allow to cool.
Step 4: Grind the flowers in a blender or food processor until finely ground.
Step 5: At this point, you can incorporate the cannabis powder into your flour to store, or store it on its own. Make sure the storage vessel used is airtight to prevent any moisture and mold.
Most people prefer a cannabis to flour ratio of 1:2 for cannaflour. When using cannaflour in recipes, try substituting just a quarter of the recipe’s flour requirement with cannabis flour at first. You can also use the powdered cannabis with almond or rice flour if you’re trying for gluten-free treats.
